Houston Jogger Attacked While Running Near Downtown

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery bodily injury.

On Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 4:20 pm, the complainant was running along a trail at the 1700 block of Elgin, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that as he was running, he approached two unknown black males, who intentionally blocked his path on the trail. One of the males hit the complainant with a closed fist while demanding money from him. While this was happening, a second suspect was filming the incident with his phone. The complainant informed the males that he was calling the police, at which time the suspects began to walk away. The victim took pictures of the suspects with his phone as they walked away. Suspect description: Suspect #1:  Black male, late teens, 5’7 to 5’8, 140 pounds, small build, black hair, medium complexion, white tank top and black pants.
Suspect #2:  Black male, late teens, 5’6, 140 pounds, black hair, medium complexion, red shirt and black pants.
