Identity Sought of Shoplifting Turned Robbery Suspect from Local Store


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery with bodily force.

On Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at 7:00 pm, an unknown male entered the Sears, located at 4000 North Shepherd, in Houston, Texas. The male remained in the store for about an hour while placing several items in a shopping cart. The male then placed the items in a bag and walked out of the store without making any attempts to pay for the items. A loss prevention officer witnessed the incident and attempted to stop the suspect outside the store. The male suspect then assaulted the loss prevention officer, but was unable to get away with the stolen items. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. HPD case #1592659-18

Suspect description: Possibly a Hispanic male, 5’6 to 5’8, 150 to 160 pounds, eye patch over right eye.
