Violent Purse Snatching at Houston Restaurant Captured on Camera

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery (purse snatching).

On Monday, February 04, 2019 at 9:30 pm, the complainants were talking in the parking lot at the Cooking Girl restaurant, located at 2400 West Holcombe, in Houston, Texas. The complainants stated that as they were talking, they saw a red car pull into the parking lot and a young male jumped out and approached them wearing a ski mask and black clothing. The suspect grabbed the purse of one of the complainants and ran back to the vehicle. At the same time, a second suspect had also exited the vehicle and grabbed the purse of another complainant’s shoulder. The female was thrown onto the ground, but refused to give up her purse. The suspect then dragged the female along with her purse towards the vehicle that the suspects were in. A brief struggle over the purse ensued and the female victim was nearly run over by the suspect vehicle, at which time she then gave up the purse. The suspects then fled westbound on West Holcombe.
