Victim Survives After Being Shot in Face in Attempted Car Jacking


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Monday, February 11, 2019 at 2:00 am, the complainant stated that she was driving on the feeder at the 9500 block of the Southwest Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stopped at the light at Bissonnet when two Hispanic males approached her and attempted to get into her car.  When the complainant refused to let them in, one of the males pulled out a handgun from his waistband and shot her in the face, striking her left cheek. After she was shot, the complainant was able to drive to her friend’s nearby home and was immediately taken to the hospital. HPD case #181358-19

Suspect descriptions: Suspect #1: Hispanic male, around 25 years of age, short, may have been Guatemalan or El Salvadorian. 
Suspect #2: Hispanic male, around 25 years old.
