Male Commits Two Robberies in the Same Week Just North of Downtown Houston

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 6:17 am, an unknown male walked into the Exxon, located at 1302 North Loop, in Houston, Texas. The male acted like he was purchasing a cup of coffee and then pulled out a handgun and demanded the money from the cash register. Once the male had the money, he then fled the location in an unknown direction. The clerk stated that the male had been in the store before, so there is a possibility that he is from the area. On Friday, March 8, 2019 at 3:58 pm, the same male entered the Metro PCS, located at 4920 Irvington, in the Houston, Texas. The male told the employee that he needed to pay his phone bill, but then pulled out a handgun from his waistband and demanded the money from the register. The employee complied with the suspect and gave him the money from the cash drawer. The suspect then took several iPhones from the safe and then left the business in an unknown direction. Suspect #1: Black male, 40’s, 6’00, 175 pounds, used black handgun.
