Hotel Resident Caught Off Guard by Robbery Suspect While Entering Room


Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 9:32 pm, the complainant had just checked into the Travel Lodge Hotel located at 8850 Airport, in Houston, Texas. The complainant was in the process of entering his hotel room when he was approached by an unknown male, who pointed a handgun at his face and demanded all of his property. The suspect struck the complainant with the gun and told him to hurry because he was moving too slow. The suspect then forced the complainant into the room and took his suitcase, wallet and keys. The suspect told the complainant to go into the bathroom and then fled the location in an unknown direction. HPD case #34520-19

Suspect description: Black male, 18 to 25 year’s old, gray pullover and blue jeans
