Victim Stabbed by Robbery Suspect while Relaxing at Park

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Friday, April 26, 2019 at 1:30 pm, the complainant was at a park, located at 1700 block of Gessner, in Houston, Texas.  As the complainant was sitting on the bench, an unknown male approached him and pulled out a silver knife. The male demanded his property in Spanish while pointing the knife at him. The complainant gave the suspect his phone and then a fight ensued and the complainant was stabbed by the suspect seven times. The suspect then took off running southbound towards an apartment complex. The complainant was transported to the medical center via a Life Flight. HPD case #523253-19

Suspect description: Hispanic male, early 20’s, 5’10, very thin build.
