Aggressive Suspect Robs Food Store for Cigarettes

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by threat.

On Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 3:36 pm, an unknown male entered the Sunny Food Store, located at 6200 Westheimer, in Houston, Texas. The male approached the clerk and asked if he could purchase a box (carton) of cigarettes. The clerk told the male that they did not sell boxes of cigarettes, but instead, sold them individually by packs. The male then agreed to purchase a few packs of cigarettes, then jumped over the counter, and threatened to harm the clerk if she did not give him the cigarettes. The suspect was able to take the bag of cigarettes along with some from the display case prior to fleeing the location. Houston PD #1310930-19

Suspect #1: White or Hispanic male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’8 to 5’11, wore glasses.
