Suspect Shoots at Clerk Before Fleeing Store Robbery

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Monday, October 28, 2019 at 6:35 am, two unknown males approached the Aldine Food Store, located at 195 Aldine Bender, in Houston, Texas. The males stood outside the store and spoke briefly, at which time one of the males covered his face with a bandana and walked into the store. The male then pulled out a handgun while walking up to the clerk and demanded the money from the cash register. The clerk had the bulletproof window partially open and attempted to close it when he realized that he was being robbed. The clerk struggled with the suspect briefly, but was able to lock the window and then hit the panic button. The suspect then fired a round at the clerk, striking the bulletproof glass, before fleeing the store. During the robbery, the second suspect kept the door open and stood as a lookout. Both suspects then fled behind the building and got into a black 4-door small hatchback vehicle. Houston PD #1416841-19
