Detectives Seek Public's Help in Solving 2019 Case

Houston Police Robbery Detectives are still seeking the identity of an unknown male who committed a Subway robbery in early 2019:

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force.

On Friday, February 22, 2019 at 7:42 pm, an unknown male entered the Subway, located at 3518 South Shepherd, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee at the register and acted as if he was about to order something. The male then jumped over the counter and grabbed the employee by the throat while demanding the money from the cash register. The suspect then slapped the employee with an open fist several times while demanding that she open the cash drawer. The employee was eventually able to get away from the suspect and ran out of the store, at which time the suspect fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #234136-19

Suspect description: Black male, 30 to 40 years old, 5’11 to 6’0, 165 to 180 pounds, black hair and dark complexion.
