On Saturday, May 30, 2020 at around 1:30 pm, the complainant
had agreed to meet with an unknown male after placing his cell phone for sell
on an app called OfferUp. The two agreed to meet in a parking lot, located at
5820 Pinemont, in Houston, Texas. Upon arriving at the location, the
complainant stated the male was waiting for him. The complainant then exited
his vehicle and handed the male his cell phone so he could inspect it. The male
then placed his sim card into the phone to see if it worked and then suddenly

On Wednesday, June 3, 2020 at around 9:00 am, the
complainant had agreed to meet with an unknown male after placing his cell
phone for sell on an app called LetGo. The two agreed to meet in a parking lot,
located at 5820 Pinemont, in Houston, Texas. Upon arriving at the location, the
complainant then exited his vehicle and handed the male his cell phone so he
could inspect it. The male then placed his sim card in the complainants phone
to make sure that it worked and then suddenly punched the complainant in the
face. The complainant then fought with the suspect, was able to get his phone
back, and then threw it under his vehicle to keep the suspect from getting it.
The suspect then took off running to the apartment complex across the street.

On Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at around 3:30 pm, the complainant
had agreed to meet with an unknown male after placing her purse for sell on
Facebook Market. The two agreed to meet in a parking lot, located at 5820
Pinemont, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she remained in the
vehicle as the male asked her if he could see the purse. The complainant then
handed the male the purse, at which time the male punched the female in the
face and then took off running. (Video of partial incident captured in parking

On Thursday, June 25, 2020 at around 1:30 pm, the
complainant had agreed to meet with an unknown male after placing her purse for
sell on Facebook Market. The male wanted to meet in a parking lot, located at
5820 Pinemont, but the complainant insisted on meeting in a more public parking
lot at the Food Town, located at 5367 Antoine. Upon arrival, the male met with
complainant and asked to see the purse. When the suspect was handed the purse,
he quickly took off running. (Before the suspect fled, the driver in the
vehicle was able to take a picture of the suspect). Houston PD #836489-20
The video that is being released is two incidents; one
captures a seller meeting with the suspect in a parking lot at 5820 Pinemont
and the photo of the suspect was captured from the parking lot at the Food Town
located at 5367 Antoine. It is possible that the suspect lives in the area.
The male creates false profiles to meet up with potential victims.
