Suspect Sought After Posing as Buyer on Online Ad

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force. 

On Thursday, January 28, 2021 at 6:30 pm, the complainant agreed to meet with an unknown male in a parking lot at the 9800 block of Long Point, in Houston, Texas after placing an ad on an online selling app for a $2,000 necklace. Upon arrival, the unknown buyer exited his vehicle and walked over to the complainant’s vehicle. When the complainant rolled down his window, the male grabbed the necklace from the complainant, back into his vehicle, and fled the scene. Houston PD #132688-21 

Suspect description: Hispanic male, possibly Cuban, approximately 6'7, thin build, wearing a blue hoodie.
