Suspect Targets Over 6 Departments Stores for Jewelry

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force. 

On Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at around 12:15 pm, an unknown male walked into a department store, located at the 300 block of Memorial City Way, in Houston, Texas. The male acted like a customer and inquired about a 14k 8mm Cuban bracelet, valued at $6300. When the employee removed the necklace from the display case and held it in order to show it to him, he forcibly grabbed it from the employee’s hands and ran out of the store. The suspect got into a red Toyota Corolla with California plates and sped off. Houston PD #909688-21

The suspect is believed to be the same male that has targeted the same department store at six other stores throughout the city and targets heavy chains and has stolen almost $22k worth of jewelry from them so far. In the other robbery/thefts, the suspect wore a NY Yankees cap. 

Suspect description: Black male, white button down shirt, camp pants, red baseball cap, white facemask and wore black and white Jordan’s.
