Victim Robbed Near Downtown After Arriving Home

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Friday, August 13, 2021 at around 6:00 pm, the complainant pulled into her apartment complex-parking garage at the 2300 block of Bagby, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she exited her vehicle and noticed two males walking around suspiciously in the parking garage. The complainant stated that she then walked to her apartment and as she was opening her door, the males walked up behind her. One of the males then pulled out a handgun and demanded her car keys and cell phone. The suspects then ran to the complainant’s vehicle and fled the scene. Houston PD #1092771-21 

Sherriff’s Deputy’s with Rusk County (Texas) located the complainant’s vehicle the next day committing a traffic violation. Deputy’s attempted to stop the vehicle, at which time, the suspect led officers on a high speed chase. The suspect then wrecked the complainant’s vehicle and a fifteen-year-old juvenile male (the shirtless male in the video) was taken into custody. 

Detectives with the Houston Police Robbery Division are currently seeking the identity of the male wearing the white shirt with red and black pants.
