Suspects Follow Victim from Bank in W. Houston Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for robbery by force.

On Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at around 4:45 pm, the complainant was getting into her vehicle after leaving a clothing store at the 9800 block of Harwin, in Houston, Texas. An unknown male exited the vehicle parked next to the complainants vehicle, opened her passenger door, and then grabbed her purse from the passenger seat. The complainant attempted to hold onto her purse and struggled with the suspect until she was no longer able to hold onto it. The suspect then got into the sedan and fled the scene. Houston PD #1011445-21

Prior to the incident, the complainant stated that she had gone to the bank at the 5900 block of Hillcroft in order to deposit a check and believes that the suspects may have followed her thinking that she had withdrawn money instead. It is clear from watching the entire video that the suspects waited for the complainant while inside the clothing store and then targeted her as she left.

Suspect description(s): Black male, 20 to 30 years old and wore a black and white jacket.
