Suspect Sought in South Houston Phone Store Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

 On Thursday, September 16, 2021 at about 6:00 pm, a male entered a cell phone store, located at the 7100 block of Cullen Boulevard, in Houston, Texas.  The male then pulled out a handgun (with an extended magazine) as he approached the employee and demanded the money and cell phones from within the store. The suspect continuously threatened the employee while pointing the gun at his face and repeatedly hit the employee with the gun during the incident. The male took the money and phones, placed them in a backpack and fled the location on foot. Houston PD #1252764-21 

Suspect is described as a black male, about 5’4 to 5’7, 130-140 pounds, wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt, black pants, black slider sandals, possibly a black beanie, with a gray and black backpack. The suspect’s gun had an extended magazine.
