Suspect Wanted in at Least Eight Robberies in Houston

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for series of aggravated robberies with a deadly weapon. 

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at around 9:26 pm, an unknown male walked into a general store, located at the 6500 block of Lyons Ave., in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee standing behind the counter while verbally threatening her and demanded the money from the register. The employee complied with the suspect and gave him the money from the cash drawer. The suspect then grabbed a box and filled it up with Newport cigarettes. Once the suspect had the cigarettes and money, he then forced the employee to open the safe and then removed the money. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction. The suspect is also believed to be responsible for the following robberies, which have all been committed in the same manner. In one of the robberies, the suspect displayed a firearm.

Inc. 1221095-21 Sept 9 at 10:36 pm general store located at the 5000 block of Telephone.

Inc. 1238676-21 Sept. 13 at 9:46 pm general store located at the 12200 block of Hempstead.

Inc. 1243816-21 Sept. 14 at 10:53 pm general store located at the 300 block of Aldine Bender.

 Suspect description: Hispanic male, 20 to 25 years old, 5’2 to 5’4, 125 to 135 pounds, speaks in both Spanish and English.
