Suspects Identity Sought in South Houston Carjacking

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance in identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Monday, January 17, 2022 at around 10:25 pm, two unknown males walked up to a convenience store, located at the 800 block of Almeda Genoa, in Houston, Texas. A customer was inside the store and as he walked out, the two males approached him while pointing a handgun at him and forced him to the ground. The suspects assaulted the complainant by hitting him numerous times with the handgun and then took his car keys, wallet and cell phone. The suspects then got into the complainants vehicle and fled the scene. Houston PD #74604-22 

About 25 minutes later, both of the suspects entered a convenience store at the 9600 block of Scott and used the complainant’s credit card. The next day, one of the suspects then attempted to use the complainant’s credit card at the 3500 block of Airport, but that transaction was declined.  

 The complainant’s vehicle was located at an apartment complex on January 19 at the 9700 block of Scott Street, in Houston, Texas. 

Suspect #1: Black male, black hooded sweater with a large white butterfly and floral design on the back and a white outline of a butterfly on the front left breast area and with sagging blue jeans.

Suspect #2: Black male grey hooded sweater and black pants.
