Victim Followed by Jugging Suspects and Robbed

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a robbery by force.

On Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at around 12:15 pm, the complainant was getting out of his vehicle at a business parking lot, located at the 9600 block of Bellaire, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he suddenly felt someone standing behind him and an unknown male reached into his back pocket and removed an envelope containing cash. The suspect then got into the backseat of a four-door Hyundai Sonata and fled the scene.  

The complainant stated that he had just come from a bank at the 9700 block of Bellaire, where he had withdrawn cash and placed the envelope with the money into his back pocket as he was leaving. The complainant stated that he believes that the suspects were watching him and followed him. Houston PD #18614-22

Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 30 years old, 5’6 to 5'9, 145 to 155 pounds, black hair, wore a yellow safety vest and black pants.

Vehicle description: Gray four-door Hyundai Sonata with a stolen license plate.
