Suspect Punches Female Hotel Clerk During Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force. 

On Sunday, May 1, 2022 at around 5:00 am, two unknown males were leaving a hotel, located at the 2900 block of West Sam Houston Parkway, in Houston, Texas. As one of the males walked passed the front desk, he noticed the hotel clerk’s purse sitting on the counter in the back office. The male then walked into the back office, grabbed the purse, and then started to walk out of the hotel. The hotel clerk tried to stop the suspect, who then punched her in the face, and then ran out of the hotel and got into a black Chevrolet Malibu. Houston PD #574326-22 

Suspect description: Black male, 25 to 30 years old, 5’1 to 5’3, 150 to 160 pounds, brown hair, white shirt and light colored sweat pants.
