Armed Suspects Fail in Attempted Take-Over Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Friday, May 20, 2022 at around 10:30 pm, four unknown males, all armed with guns, entered a convenience store, located at the 2000 block of Bennington, in Houston, Texas. The suspects entered the store, pointed their guns at the clerk and the customer’s while demanding that the clerk open the door to the enclosed area with the cash registers (surrounded by bulletproof glass). The suspects attempted to gain access through the door leading to the store clerk but were unable to open it. The suspects became frustrated and ran out of the store while firing rounds at the bulletproof glass and then fled in an unknown direction. Houston PD #670378-22 

Suspect #1: Hispanic male, skinny, red pullover, gray pants, used assault rifle.

Suspect #2: Black male, white pullover, blue jeans, wore sandals.

Suspect #3: Black male, black long sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and yellow shoes.

Suspect #4: Black male, black pullover, black pants and black shoes.
