Suspect Wanted in South Houston Store Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Sunday, July 3, 2022 at around 12:50 pm, an unknown male entered a convenience store, located at the 3800 block of Old Spanish Trail, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the counter, pulled out a handgun while throwing his backpack towards the clerk, and demanded that he put the money in it. The suspect then jumped over the counter, grabbed the money from the cash drawer, and then fled the location on foot to a nearby lot, where an older tan model Mercury Mountaineer was parked. The suspect then got into the driver’s seat and sped off from the location. Houston PD #879144-22 

Suspect description: Black male, 18 to 21 years old, medium build, black shorts, green shirt, white shoes with black socks and black backpack. Silver revolver.

Suspect vehicle: older model tan Mercury Mountaineer.
