Suspect Flees with Cupcakes After Violent Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Saturday, November 19, 2022 at around 7:30 am, an unknown male entered a convenience store, located at the 6000 block of Almeda, in Houston, Texas. The male first acted like a customer and walked around the store, but then pulled out a knife, jumped over the counter and punched the female clerk in the face, causing her to fall to the ground. The suspect then attempted to stab the clerk numerous times, but she was able to hold onto his arm, keeping him from stabbing her. A customer walked into the store and yelled at the suspect to stop while calling the police. The suspect then stopped assaulting the clerk, grabbed a bag of cupcakes, and fled the location in a unknown direction. Houston PD #1562841-22 

Suspect description: Black male, dark skin, around 5'10, curly hair, maroon shirt and black sweatpants.
