Suspect Arrested After Several West Houston Robberies

ARRESTED: 01/19/2023 – Lisa Marie Coleman, 58, has been charged with three counts of robbery by threat and kidnapping after her involvement in a crime spree dating from November 15 to December 23, 2022.  At the time of this release, Coleman has been charged in the following cases:

 November 15, 2022 – Female suspect approached the complainant in a parking garage at the 5500 block of Wesleyan at around 6:00 pm. Suspect asked the complainant for money and at the same time, the complainant noticed that the suspect had her right hand in her pocket, leading her to believe that she might have a gun. The suspect then forced the complainant to drive her to several ATM’s and withdraw money from her account. The complainant was able to escape, and the suspect fled the scene. Houston PD #1546286-22 

Dec. 21, 2022 – Female suspect entered a hotel at the 5100 block of Westheimer at around 4:50 pm.  The suspect approached the cashier, displayed a threatening note, and demanded money. The cashier complied with the suspect and gave her the money from the cash drawer. The suspect left the restaurant on foot. Houston PD #1718662-22 

Dec. 23, 2022 – Female suspect entered a bank at the 7900 block of Westheimer at around 5:20 pm. The suspect approached the teller, displayed a threatening note, and demanded money. The teller complied with the suspect and gave her the money from the cash drawer. The suspect fled the location in a dark colored sedan. Houston PD #1728219-22 (VIDEO: https://youtu.be/GV0lWHU7Ezk) 

Coleman is also believed to be responsible for the following robbery, and could possibly be linked to more: 

Dec. 20, 2022 – Female suspect entered a sandwich shop at the 6100 block of Westheimer at around 9:20 pm. The suspect approached the cashier, displayed a threatening note, and demanded money. The cashier complied with the suspect and gave her the money from the cash drawer. The suspect left the restaurant on foot. Houston PD #1714767-22
