Suspect Sought in Robbery Outside Convenience Store

On Monday, July 17, 2023 at around 7:15 pm, the complainant was in front of a convenience store, located at the 4800 block of Martin Luther Boulevard, in Houston, Texas. The complainant, who stated that he is also autistic, was approached by an unknown him and demanded his backpack. The suspect then assaulted the complainant by striking him numerous times in his face with a closed fist. The suspect managed to get the backpack from the complainant, but then pulled out a handgun. The complainant ran away from the suspect and into the convenience store. The store clerk then locked the door and called the police as the suspect attempted to gain access into the store. The suspect then fled the location. Houston PD #1015892-23 

Suspect description: Black male, 5’6 to 6’0, 180 to 230 pounds, light green shirt and shorts.
