Robbery Suspect Shoots Homeless Victim Over Crocs

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Wednesday, September 13, 2023 at around 2:50 am, the complainant, who is homeless, was sleeping near a business at a commercial parking lot at the 12500 block of Bissonnet, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he was approached by an unknown male, who grabbed his Crocs, then pulled out a handgun, and shot him numerous times. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction. 

The complainant added that earlier in the day, the male had approached him and asked him if he could have his Crocs, but he refused to give them to him. The male then returned several hours later while the victim was sleeping. Houston PD #1312175-23

The victim was transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds to the right leg, left leg, right arm, hand and chest, but is expected to survive his injuries after having numerous surgeries. 

Suspect description: Black male, around 19 years old, 108 pounds, 5'11, wearing a black jacket and had a light mustache and an afro.
