Suspects Charged Thanks to Crime-Stoppers Tip

On Sunday, September 17, 2023 at around 11:30 pm, two unknown males entered a convenience store, located at the 2600 block of South Richey, in Houston, Texas. The males first acted like customers and then walked to the front counter. One of the males then displayed a handgun while demanding the money from the register. The employee complied and gave the money from the cash drawer to the suspects. The suspects then fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #1337357-23 

Detectives with the Houston Police Robbery Division received a Crime-Stoppers tip and the two suspects, identified as Mike Garcia, 29, and Jonathan Uriegas, 17, were both charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.   

 Jonathan Uriegas has since been arrested and is currently out on bond while Mike Garcia’s

whereabouts is currently unknown and as of January 24, still has an active warrant for aggravated robbery . The charge information is as follows: 

Wanted: Mike Garcia, 29. Charge: Aggravated robbery Deadly Weapon. Cause: 1843015. Court: 262nd DC. DOW: 11/6/2023
