Suspect Sought After Northeast Houston Carjacking

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, at around 6:30 pm, two unknown males walked up to a mechanic shop, located at the 4300 block of East Crosstimbers, in Houston, Texas. The males then approached a customer’s truck in the parking lot and started to get into it. The complainant observed the males asked then what they were doing. One of the males then pulled out a handgun, pointed it at the complainant, and started to go through his pockets. An employee at the mechanic shop observed what was happening and approached the suspect, who then got into the customers truck with the second suspect and fled the location. Houston PD #918804-24 

The stolen truck was located, unoccupied, along the roadway at the 7800 block of Duncan a short while later. The suspect was observed on surveillance video at a convenience store at 7800 Jensen shortly after the stolen truck was abandoned. 

Suspect descriptions: Hispanic male, 20 to 30 years old, thin build, 5’6 to 5’10, short hair, tattoo under his eye and neck dark blue shirt and blue shorts. Suspect #2: Hispanic male.
