The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance in locating Corey Keith-Tibbs, 37, who is currently wanted for aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.
On Monday, March 21, 2022 at around 5:15 pm, two males drove into a car dealership, located at the 7300 block of Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that one of the males, later identified as Corey Keith-Tibbs, walked up to him and asked if he could test drive a car. The complainant then walked into the office with the Corey Keith-Tibbs following. The complainant stated that as sat on his chair, he noticed the Corey Keith-Tibbs pulling his shirt up and grabbing a gun. The complainant then grabbed his gun, which the suspect saw, and stated “No!” to the complainant. Corey Keith-Tibbs then turned around, walked out of the office, and took off running. The second suspect, driving a four-door Mercedes, also fled from the parking lot. Houston PD #370860-22
A video of the robbery was shared by the Houston Police Robbery Division, which resulted in the development of the suspect, identified as Corey Keith-Tibs. A follow up investigation was conducted by a Robbery Detective, which lead to charges of aggravated robbery being filed through the Harris County on Feb. 10, 2023. As of August 8, 2024, the whereabouts if Corey Keith-Tibbs is still unknown.
