Suspect Sought in Credit Card Abuse Case Stemming from Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance in identifying the suspect responsible for credit card abuse stemming from a robbery bodily force (carjacking).

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at around 4:00 pm, an unknown male entered a department store, located at the 2700 block of Eldrige, in Houston, Texas. The male used a credit card that had been taken in a robbery by force (carjacking) and purchased several items.

In the robbery case, the complainant was leaving an apartment complex at the 3000 block of Elmside on Tuesday, October 1st at around 3:00 am. The complainant stated that an unknown male approached him and demanded his property. The suspect then assaulted the complainant, took his wallet and car keys, and then fled the location in the complainant’s 2009 Dodge Charger. Houston PD #1387123-24

Note: As of November 22, 2024, the victims 2009 Red Dodge Charger is still listed as stolen.   

Robbery suspect: Black male, multicolored shirt, light colored shorts and wearing a cowboy hat.
