The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the
public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a theft from person
robbery.
On Tuesday, December 24, 2025, the complainant stated that he was in the market for a camera lens and located one of a social media selling site for $1000. The complainant stated that he reached out to the seller, and they agreed to meet at an apartment complex parking lot at around 1:00 pm at the 6100 block of West Tidwell, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that upon his arrival, he was flagged down by two males, who were posing as the sellers. The complainant stated that he inspected the camera lens, agreed to the purchase, and then pull out a $1000 in cash. One of the males grabbed the lens while the second male grabbed the cash. Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 22 years old, 6’0, 170 to 180 pounds, thin build, black shirt and black short.
Suspect #2: Black male, 20 to 22 years old, 6’0, 170 to 180 pounds, thin build, brown
hoodie and light-colored shorts.
