The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the
public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated
robbery.
On Thursday, January 9, 2025, the complainant stated that she had placed an ad to sell her iPhone on an online selling app and received a response from a male claiming to be “Joshua Jones.” The complainant stated that the male wanted to purchase the phone, so they agreed to meet at her residence at around 12:45 pm at the 7300 block of Dunkirk, in Houston, Texas. Upon his arrival, the male walked up to the complainant, immediately pulled out a handgun, and demanded the phone. The suspect then grabbed the phone from the complainant’s hand and fled the location on foot. Houston PD #39697-24
Notes: The complainant was able to capture a picture of the male as he was arriving. The suspect’s profile was also deleted just after meeting with the complainant.
Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 30 years old, thin build, green Gap pullover jacket and black pants.
