On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at around 7:30 pm, an unknown male walked into a convenience store, located at the 4000 block of Gulf Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee standing behind the counter, displayed a handgun from his waistband and demanded the money from the register. The employee complied with the suspect and gave him the money from the cash drawer. The suspect then placed the money into a bag and then fled the location in an older model tan Ford Explorer. Note: Houston Police Robbery Detectives have determined that the vehicle used in this robbery, an older model tan Ford Explorer, was also used in a previously released robbery at a convenience store that occurred on Dec. 29, 2024, at the 10600 block of Cullen. Video: https://youtu.be/_vvKbFtooR4
Suspect description: Black male, 40's, wearing gray sweatpants and a dark gray or black hoodie.
