WANTED: Robbery Detectives Seeking Suspect Wanted in Pair of Robberies

 

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by threat.

On Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at around 7:00 am, an unknown male entered a convenience store, located at the 7800 South Sam Houston Parkway East, in Houston, Texas. The male approached the counter and acted like he was going to make a small purchase. While at the counter, the male threatened the clerk while demanding cash, Newport cigarettes and lottery tickets. The suspect forced the clerk to place the items into a bag and then fled the location in a silver four-door sedan. Houston PD #1653200-24

The same suspect is believed to be responsible for a similar robbery that occurred at a convenience store on November 10, 2024 at the 11500 block of South Sam Houston East Parkway. Houston PD # 1575930-24: https://youtu.be/pzB7XjvSEoU

Suspect description: Black male, 40 to 50 years old, 5’8 to 5’10, 160 to 180 pounds, black facemask/ski mask, black hoodie, dark pants and yellow/brown and black shoes. Had heavy acne scars and was soft spoken.

Vehicle: Silver four-door sedan, possibly a Hyundai. Had a dent on the driver side near the front door.
