Suspect Turns Shoplifting into Robbery After Threatening Employee

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a shoplifting turned robbery by threat.

On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at around 6:50 pm, an unknown male entered a general store, located at the 8800 block of Jensen, in Houston, Texas. The male walked around the store and concealed merchandise in his clothing. An employee recognized the male as a frequent shoplifter and confronted him about the merchandise. The suspect then threatened to harm the employee and then fled the location on foot. Houston PD #220822-25

Suspect descriptions: Black male, 30 to 35 years old, 5’10, slim build, black hoodie and black pants.
