The
Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance in
locating Jose M. Torres, 29, who is currently wanted for aggravated robbery
(deadly weapon).
On Sunday, January 12, 2025, at around 3:00 pm, an unknown male entered a convenience store, located at the 1300 block of Federal, in Houston, Texas. The male walked into the store, attempted to pull his handgun from his waistband, causing it to fall into his pants, which resulted in him falling to the ground. Once the clumsy suspect retrieved the handgun, he approached the store clerk, who was standing behind an enclosed counter and demanded the money from the cash register. The store clerk then backed away, so the suspect fired a round in the store, walked to the cooler and removed a case of beer, and fled the location, possibly in a white truck. Houston PD # 53778-25
