Kenneth Walker, 42, Arrested in Array of Charges Stemming from Robbery

ARRESTED: Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested for a parole violation warrant, aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance stemming from an incident that occurred on Sunday, November 2, 2025, at around 2:00 pm, at a convenience store parking lot at the 3500 block of Mangum, in Houston, Texas.

The suspect, Kenneth Walker, 42, is charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of a controlled substance in the 180th State District Court. Kenneth Walker’s booking photo is attached to this release.

According to the complainant, he was at a convenience store parking lot and was approached by a black sedan with an unknown male driving. The complainant stated the driver pulled up next to him and offered to sell him drugs. When the complainant refused, the male exited the vehicle, pointed a handgun at him, and demanded his property. The suspect took the complainants property and then fled the location in the black sedan.

A Houston Police Robbery Detective conducted a follow up investigation and established Kenneth Walker, 42, as a possible suspect. Walker was then identified by the victim in the case. In addition, at the time of the investigation, Kenneth Walker, was wanted for an active aggravated robbery parole violation warrant stemming from an aggravated robbery conviction in 2006, in which he received a twenty-year sentence.

On November 28, 2025, Houston Police officers with the North Patrol Station were actively searching for Kenneth Walker after learning that he was wanted for an aggravated robbery parole violation warrant. Officers observed Kenneth Walker commit a traffic violation while driving a black Ford Fiesta sedan at the 2200 block of Antoine. North Patrol officers then initiated a traffic stop and took Kenneth Walker into custody. While searching Walker’s vehicle, officers also located a loaded firearm and individually packaged bags of cocaine powder and methamphetamine.

Kenneth Walker was transported to the Harris County Jail and charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a controlled substance. After being placed into custody, a Houston Police Robbery Detective then filed additional charges of aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon on Walker.
