Purse Snatching Suspect Wanted in S. Houston Robbery

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery with bodily force (purse snatching).

On Sunday, September 15, 2019 at 2:54 pm, the complainant was walking at the 2900 block of Westridge, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she was approached from behind by an unknown male, who forcibly took her purse from her. Once the suspect had the complainant’s purse, he ran away from the location on foot towards an apartment complex across the street. The complainant stated that she had a gun and several personal items in her purse when the suspect stole it. Houston PD #1206295-19.

Suspect description: Black male, 20 to 25 years old, 6’2, whites shirt, gray pants and white shoes with yellow baseball cap.
