#TBT of Unsolved Robberies Committed by Same Male

Crime Stoppers and the Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for two robberies with a deadly weapon.

On Monday, December 24, 2018 at 9:15 pm, an unknown white male entered the Upscale Cleaners, located at 2450 Louisiana, in Houston, Texas. The male was holding a suit in one hand while holding a handgun in his right hand. The suspect pointed the weapon at the employee and demanded the money from the cash register. The employee complied with the suspect and opened the register, at which time the suspect removed the money from the drawer. The suspect then placed his gun on the counter and began looking for more money in the cash drawer. The male then forced the employee to the bathroom in the back of the business and fled the location in an unknown direction. HPD case #1616883-18

The same male then returned to the Upscale Cleaners on January 15, 2019 at 11:33 am and committed a second robbery. The male walked into the business and pulled out a handgun. The complainant stated that the suspect recognized her from the last robbery and he told her "you already know what this is, so open the cash register." The complainant complied with the suspect and opened the register. Once the suspect had the money, he escorted the employee to the bathroom in the back of the business and fled the location. Suspect description: White male, 45 to 50 years old, 5’5 to 5’7, dark coat, black hoodie and black pants.
