Online Seller Shot During Transaction with Stranger

 

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon.

On Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 8:45 pm, the complainant was sitting inside his vehicle at an apartment complex located at the 700 block of Janisch, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that he had placed a pair of shoes to sell on an online ad and was waiting for the person (only known as Vic) that had agreed to purchase them. The complainant stated that Vic arrived and paid him for the shoes in counterfeit money. The complainant stated that when he noticed that the money was not real, he confronted him about it. The complainant stated that Vic then pulled out a handgun and shot him as he sat in the driver’s seat. The suspect then forced the complainant out of his car and then got into the driver’s seat and sped off. The complainant’s vehicle was located the next day at the 4000 block of Lelay Circle, in Houston, Texas. Houston PD #1268227-20

 Suspect description: Hispanic male, with a tan complexion, skinny possibly 140 pounds, approximately 5'8"-5'10" tall, with a small afro, about 25 years old, and was socially awkward.
