Suspect Wanted in Houston Purse Snatching Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division need the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery by force. 

On Monday, July 12, 2021 at around noon, the complainant pulled into a parking lot at the 2500 block of South Gessner, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she exited her vehicle and was approached by an unknown male, who forcibly took her purse from her. The complainant stated that the male then started to walk away towards a grocery store, where he briefly walked inside. While inside, the male grabbed a can of bug spray and a lighter and then walked back out of the store. The complainant stated that she began to follow the suspect, at which time he threw the complainants purse onto the ground and then walked away. The complainant stated that although she recovered her wallet, the contents inside of it had been removed. Houston PD #937967-21 

Suspect description: Black male, bald, large frame, light colored shirt and wore leggings.
