Suspect Uses Hammer in Cell Phone Store Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division are still in need of the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for aggravated robbery.

On Friday, October 22, 2021 at around 7:55 pm, an unknown male entered a cell phone store, located at the 2800 block of S. SH 6, in Houston, Texas. The male walked up to the employee in an aggressive manner while holding a hammer and demanded the money from the cash register. The employee then opened the cash drawer and placed the money in a bag. The suspect then forced the employee to the back office, where he went through the safe, removing a variety of new cell phones. The suspect then fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #1426773-21

Suspect: Black male, 5’8 to 5’10, 150 to 180 pounds, black polo, light colored shorts and blue ski mask.
