Jugging Suspects Target Female After Leaving Bank

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery with bodily force.

On Wednesday, January 19, 2022 at around 12:00 pm, the complainant had just parked her vehicle in a parking garage at the 6200 block of Savoy Drive, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that she exited her vehicle and walked into an office building. While waiting for the elevator, an unknown male walked up to her and forcibly grabbed her purse. The complainant tried to hold onto her purse and was forced to the ground by the suspect. Once the suspect was able to gain control of the complainant’s purse, he got into a black Dodge Charger with dark tent and fled the scene HPD case #81322-22.

Note: The complainant stated she believes that she was targeted because before the incident, she went to a bank located at the 9245 South Texas 6, walked inside, made a large cash withdraw, placed the money into her purse, and then walked to her vehicle. The complainant then drove almost 12 miles to the 6200 block of Savoy. In addition to the black Dodge Charger, a blue Chevrolet Malibu might have also been following the complainant.

The victim described the suspect as a black male, 20 to 25 years old, and 5’11 to 6’0, 150 pounds, gray Nike hoodie and gray pants.
