Suspect Shoots at Victim After Stealing Tax Refund

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Sunday, March 27, 2022 at around 12:30 am, the complainant was staying in a hotel room at the 9000 block of Airport Blvd., in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that a male that she recently met and only knows as “Junior” knocked on her door, so she let him in. The complainant stated that Junior was aware the she had recently cashed her tax refund and asked her if he could borrow $200. The complainant stated that she agreed to loan him the money, at which time, Junior pulled out a handgun and demanded all of her refund. The suspect then took her money and as he was leaving, he turned around and fired several shots towards her door. The suspect fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #398214-22 

Suspect description: Black male, possibly goes by “Junior,” 28 to 35 years old, dark colored jacket and shorts and armed with a handgun.
