Robbery Suspect Masks Up After Posing as Customer

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery.

On Monday, July 4, 2022 at around 4:00 am, an unknown male entered a convenience store, located at the 8000 block of Cullen, in Houston, Texas. The male first acted like a customer and purchased a face mask and then waited around until come customers left. Meanwhile, the clerk walked outside of the enclosed area surrounding the cash registers so he could restock some merchandise. The suspect then put on the face mask, pulled out a handgun from his waistband, and demanded the money from the cash registers. The clerk complied with the suspect and placed the money into a bag, at which time, the suspect fled the location in an unknown direction. Houston PD #882383-22 

Suspect description: Black male, around 30 years old, 5’10 to 6’0, 220 to 230 pounds, black hair, dark complexion, white shirt, blue Nike shorts and wore white slides.
