Robbery Suspect Sought in Violent Store Robbery

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for an aggravated robbery. 

On Thursday, August 4, 2022 at around 1:00 am, the complainant, a store clerk, was working inside a convenience store, located at the 4400 block of Buck, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that an unknown male suddenly appeared inside the store with a baseball bat and started hitting him in the head with it. The complainant stated that he fell to the ground after being hit multiple times with the bat. The suspect then went around the counter, taking cash and cigarettes, and placing them in a black bag. The suspect the fled the location in an unknown direction. The complainant suffered severe head trauma and was transported to the hospital in serious condition, but is expected to survive. Suspect #1: Black male, wearing a white hoodie, black pants with distinct pattern on the inner thigh area, with olive green/black tennis shoes.
