Robbery Suspects Sought After Robbery and Shooting

The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspects responsible for a robbery and aggravated assault. 

On Saturday, October 7, 2023 at around 4:00 AM, the complainant was walking through a parking lot, on her way to work, at the 3700 block of Center, in Houston, Texas. The complainant stated that two vehicles slowly drove by her and then stopped. Three unknown males then exited the vehicles, ran up to her, and forcibly grabbed her backpack, causing her to the fall to the ground. The suspects got back into a white four-door sedan and blue four-door sedan and fled the scene. Houston PD #1437706-23

At around 4:20 am, the same suspects drove to an apartment complex, located at the 2800 block of Kirby, in Houston, Texas. At the same time, a security guard was also at the apartment complex making his rounds. The security guard noticed that the males were acting suspicious and began to walk towards them. The suspects immediately started shooting at the security guard, who was able to return fire at the suspects with his duty weapon. During the shootout, it appeared as though no one was hit. Suspect descriptions: Black male, green pullover and tan pants. Suspect #2: Black male, navy pullover and torn blue jeans. Suspect #3: Black male, black shirt and black pants. Suspect #4: Black male, black pullover and black pants. Suspect #5: Black male, black shirt and blue jeans.
