Suspect Assaults Loss Prevention Officer in Store Robbery

On Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at around 1:20 pm, an unknown male entered a department store, located at the 5000 block of Westheimer, in Houston, Texas. The male walked to the shoe section, picked out a pair of shoes, removed the security sensor with a pair of scissors, and then concealed the shoes in the front of his pants. A loss prevention officer witnessed the incident and attempted to stop the suspects outside the store. The male suspect then pushed the loss prevention officer and fled the scene. Suspect descriptions: Black male, 6’0, 180 to 200 pounds, white shirt and black pants.
