Suspect Sought in Carjacking Robbery in Northwest Houston

 The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division needs the public's assistance identifying the suspect responsible for a robbery (carjacking). 

On Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 9:30 pm, the complainants (husband and wife) pulled into a convenience store parking lot, located at the 11400 block of Northwest Freeway, in Houston, Texas. The male complainant walked into the store while the female complainant remained in the running vehicle. An unknown male then approached the vehicle, opened the door, and got into the driver’s seat while armed with a knife. As the male complainant saw the suspect get into his vehicle and attempted to intervene, but fell to the ground as the suspect was driving off. A short distance away, the female complainant opened the passenger door and jumped out of the vehicle. The vehicle was located by Houston Police officers on May 15, unoccupied, in a convenience store parking lot at the 5600 block of W. 34th. Houston PD #680408-24 

Note: The suspect was captured on surveillance video inside the convenience store just prior to the robbery.   

Suspect: White male, 45 to 55 years old, black shirt, black pants and black shoes.
