Parking Lot Robberies
Be aware of your surrounding at all times. Check for suspicious people hanging around and suspicious vehicles.
If someone makes you feel uneasy, trust your instincts and leave that area.
Park in busy parking lots. Criminals often prefer to avoid witnesses.
If your key fob has an alarm button and you feel like you might be in danger, activate your alarm to gain attention.
At night, park in well-lighted areas.
Have a plan: Know what you would do if you were attacked.
